Congratulations Helen and Colin. Gate Street is a regular venue for Rollercoaster, so we are very much at home there. We arrived during the speeches, and tucked into some very fine food, from the very fine caterers Kalm Kitchens. First dance was Better, by Tom Baxter, played by the band. It’s a beautiful song, and the bride and groom looked lovely dancing away (there was a great twirl at one point, to much applause).
The rest of the night flew by – it was great to see so many kids dancing (though there was a sign up saying ‘No Dad Dancing’… so the band stood still 😉 Final song was Champagne Supernova, as came to the end a great evening.
