Congratulations Liz and Simon. We could pretty well agree, that this was the start of the summer, and the start of a run of 4 back to back weddings for Rollercoaster. And what a great wedding venue to start from! Wasing Park seems almost to be purpose built, with a large curtained stage area, beautiful gardens and facilities etc. the food was stunning – in house caterers provided a shredded duck salad for starters, followed by a lovely fillet steak dish as main – it was first class!
First dance was Chasing Cars, played by the band. After a Mr Whippy in the break (there was an Ice cream van laid on for the guests outside!), we pushed on with the second set, which hit another gear when we played Last Night, and stayed up there until the end.
A great crowd, with some great dancing (including the military / Chipendale style dancing mid stage by one guest).
