Congratulations Claire and Tom.
A return visit for Rollercoaster to The Priory Barns – the previous time being for Claire’s cousin who was married there (though we were booked without any connection to this – it’s a small world).
It was a hot day, though with some cloud cover, a very pleasant one. After the wedding breakfast and speeches, the band started up, playing the first dance – All About You by McFly, with the custom ‘wedding speech’ lyrics. We managed to throw in some choice Irish tracks, for the Irish folk who were present, most excellent fiddling provided by the one and only Chris Haigh, who was on fire as usual.
We played right through until midnight, at which point we had to unfortunately stop all music, much to the dismay of the assemble wedding guests.
