This was the band’s second visit to the Curadine Barns ( Home at Curradine Barns – Barn Wedding Venue in Worcestershire )… a pleasant drive up the M40, and there we were! The venue has a really nice vibe, and it’s always a bonus to be able to load straight to the performance area without having to wait for the tables to be cleared (it was in a separate room).
We were prepared for the wedding crowd to be slim early on in the evening, with the bar in a separate area, but it was pretty consistent, and they danced with energy and enthusiasm, which was great. First dance was a Mumford song, Not With Haste, DJ’d. As was to be expected, the Mumford songs we played live went down a storm!
They were a great crowd to play too – and it was lovely to hear that they had been checking out Rollercoaster on the web (Live at Kempton). The couple discovered Rollercoaster through the Bury Court Barn website, which was also splendid to hear!
