Holdenby House is a grand venue, and this was Rollercoaster’s first visit. The wedding breakfast was finishing in the marquee as we setup inside. First dance was Life With You, by the Proclaimers, played by the band. We then went into a lively Ceilidh, led by Jason, who handled calling duties, as well as fiddling! We pushed on into the main set, as the crowds danced away, and after a short break, launched on into the ‘rockier’ second half. The crowd was a Scottish and Irish mix, so the blend of music worked well. We closed as we began, with The Proclaimers, 500 Miles, then DJ’d Runrig ‘Loch Lomond’ as the final track.
