Congratulations Martin and Natalie. This was fairly large wedding reception, with 250 guests – mostly from Donegal. There were a few requests for jive and country, and we satisfied this as the set progressed. First dance was Ed Sheeran, Talking Out Loud (played by the band)… which was a lovely track to learn.
We played through until 2am, by which time there were some very merry folk in the room – who were certainly getting down to the ‘non-jive’ and ‘country’ songs we were playing (namely Kings Of Leon, Avicci, Killers etc)… which is to be expected. Weddings have all generations, and it’s great to play something for everyone!
