A lovely couple, and a fun crowd. Guitarist Rob had been playing to the guests before, and during the ceremony, earlier in the day… setting the scene for the quality to come!
First dance was Thinking Out Loud, played by the band – which is a perfect song to play. It was an early start, so we played 3 sets, though we had folk dancing throughout. As expected, the party ramped up as the evening went on. The father of the groom was the perfect audience member, providing a great spirit on the dance floor, getting everyone dancing – which was a pleasure to watch.
This was a mid-week wedding, but a perfect crowd, who didn’t tire as the night went on – in fact, the shouts for more, were ringing loud at the end of the night.
