We played Pete’s wedding 9 years ago, so he figured it would be good to get the band back for his big 50th Birthday bash… and a great idea it was too!
We tucked into some top food over at the Derby Arms, opposite the racecourse, then headed back to the function room to start our set. The view was stunning – 360 degrees of panoramic huge skies, form north to south. – and after the buffet, we kicked off the music.
It was a smaller crowd, but a fun one, and were very appreciative (they certainly gave it 200% on the final song – 500 Miles). It was a fun gig, and a great crowd to play to.
