Rollercoaster knew Tom from his previous years in the world renowned Surrey University Stage Crew (we had taken a collection of ‘Crew’ folk on tour with us in our previous band Redwood). Tom came a little after the ‘Redwood’ years, but still a top chap… who obviously has goods taste in music (along with his lovely wife Abi).
Loseley is a favourite Rollercoaster venue, so after the Mongolian Buffet, we pushed on with the first dance – Galway Girl. It was a bank holiday, and the weather held out long enough for it to be a perfect day! The crowds danced, we played, and all was good. Later, the guests were tucking into the Lego Wedding cake – very cool, and with coloured white chocolate bricks
We had Jason on fiddle with us, so we had the pleasure of playing Fleur De Mandragore, to a tidy line of ‘Irish Dancers’… great to watch.
