Loseley is a fantastic venue – great for bands, as you can setup at the end of the hall while the meals are being served. Rollercoaster have played there many a time, and it was great to be returning. We had met Kari and Brad the year before at the Loseley Open Day – so it was good to see them a year on! The guest were a very glamorous crowd, and a good indicator of the night to come was the quantity of folk who started dancing as the band were sound checking!
First dance was a mix of songs provided by the happy couple – with some top dance moves. From then on, the dancefloor was full, all night long! A highlight was I Will Wait For You… (plus some very engaging dancing by the women in front of the band). Jason was fiddling for the night, and the crowd certainly went for the Celtic tracks, such as Fleur De Mandragor.
It was fantastic night – a joy to play to such an enthusiastic crowd… and great to look out and see the beautiful mother of the groom dancing away ( celebrity TV presenter, author etc Debbie Flint Debbie Flint | Writer | TV Presenter | Blogger ).
