A trip up north, on one of the hottest days of the year, to one of the top theme parks in the country – it’s got Thomas Land!!! Of course, we didn’t actually get to go into the theme park, as our attentions were on preparations for the evenings entertainment. We would be playing to a themed corporate party, for Teaching Personnel – Supply Teaching Jobs | Teaching Jobs – Teaching Personnel … the theme was… a music festival! So we certainly fit the bill regards the live band part of it, and there was DJ (Oli) who filled in in the gaps, and catered for the hard core RnB tunes later on… not forgetting the bongo player!
It was a super hot day, but the crowds were enticed in (nothing to do with the free bar)… and by midnight, they were crying out for more. They were a great crowd, and it was a shame that we had to stop when we did – but that’s festivals for you. It was certainly a top gig!
We left the building to the sounds of Oli’s decks pumping out the tunes.
