From the word go, there was a great vibe with this wedding. From the sweet trolley, to the ice creams on the lawn, the bouncy castle, the photo screen, the Irish Dancers… it had all been thought of.
First Dance, played by the band, was Sail Away by David Gray… which is a lovely song. We played a short set, then the Irish Dancers performed. Highlight was the surprise performance from Jamie during the Riverdance theme – much to Libby’s surprise / delight / embarrassment. Apparently, Jamie had been taking 6 months of lessons – which culminated in the high kick we saw performed, in front of the entire wedding crowd!
The guests danced all night, over the 3 sets we played. It was a an absolute pleasure to play to such an energetic and receptive crowd.
