Wasing is a purpose built venue – perfect for wedding receptions – and perfect for bands to play. The stage has a curtain across, so you can set up whilst the meal is going on (and in this case, listen to the quality speeches). the staff are friendly and helpful – and obviously like working there, which is a good sign to start with.
Rosie and Jon looked fantastic as we played the first dance (Rule The World), followed by the ‘family song’, She Wears My Ring. The guests enjoyed the bar and dance floor in equal measure, and the second set hit top gear and stayed there… in fact, they didn’t let us finish, and we returned to play three more encores (thanks to understanding bar staff). Top tracks were Avicii and Mumford, though to be honest, the whole night rocked.
