A return visit to the lovely country venue of Nutfield Priory. We loaded in and waited for the speeches to finish, then moved through to the main room as the tables were cleared. First dance was ‘Everything’ by Michael Buble, played by the band (and sung by drummer Chris). After that we pushed on, and the crowd danced and sang, and were the perfect audience.We took a short break for the hog roast / buffet to be served then carried on, throwing in a few Celtic songs (Jason was on fiddle for this gig).
Steph and Tom were a lovely couple to play for – and their guests were a warm and friendly crowd, which made the gig such a joy to play. Hopefully we’ll be seeing them in the future – thanks for looking after us, see you all soon.
